This project was founded in the year 2004 Merko Ehitus, Swedbank and Eesti Energia with the main objective to develop a network of good quality public hiking trails in Estonia and ensure their maintenance all year long. Well maintained and lit in the dark this network provides an opportunity for Estonian people to be physically active and lead healthy lives thus providing a base for making sports a habit.
