Tallinn University Haapsalu College is an independent education, research and development centre. The study departments are: teacher training, information technology, health promotion, traffic safety, handicraft technology and design.
Haapsalu College co-operates with Health Tourism Cluster in developing new spa technology and services. The heads of departments belong to different Health Tourism Cluster work groups providing specialist opinion and skills, they help conduct research and develop technology and services.
In addition to that Health Tourism Cluster is provided with research and development by the Health Promotion and Rehabilitation Competence Centre of Haapsalu College. This establishment is an internationallyacknowledged research, development, implementation and information mediation centre with its focus on two more specific areas:
research on curative mud, evaluation of its impact, development of know-how based entrepreneurship;
evaluation of population’s mobility and physical activity, its development (prevention and rehabilitation), counseling, implementation of know-how in entrepreneurship;
