Paraffin therapy for hands and feet has a warming effect, cares for the skin, improves blood circulation and has a favourable effect on local metabolism. This form of paraffin treatment reduces pain in the joins of fingers and toes, small muscles and ligaments of the palm and of the foot. The procedure efficiently improves gaps in the skin of fingers and soles of the feet, often of older people. Examples include tea tree oil paraffin for the feet, which also has an antiseptic effect; and menthol or rosemary paraffin for the hands.
